Spring is Here?

Good afternoon Dowding Team! I think Mother Nature forgot that it’s Spring?!

We just wanted to send a reminder about the upcoming Chuck Hurd Award presentation on Monday, March 25th at 11:30 am at Plant 1! This also would have been our late founder, Skip Dowding’s 92nd Birthday! We have some special guests attending this year…Chuck’s family, so let’s make this a special day!

Yesterday was another special time honoring the legacy of those women who pioneered the way for women in manufacturing by supporting the war effort, learning to work in factories as the men went off to war. It was a time that we were able to come together as a Dowding Team and recognize the part women played in America’s victory in World War II rendering the freedoms we all share today!
A special thank you to those who were able to make it out to the Capitol building yesterday and as Chris, our CEO highlighted in her speech….our extreme appreciation to the men that risked their lives, some gave all, and our appreciation of the Dowding Men for their continued support and encouragement of women in the workplace, in the past and as we move forward!
