Silver Bells 5k Run/Walk
It’s not too late to sign up for the Silver Bells 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 23rd in Downtown Lansing!
Go to the Silver Bells Run sign up page HERE and click Corporate Teams at the Top and then JOIN next to Team Dowding Industries. Follow the registration steps, when asked if you want to Create or Join a team select NO (this is a question for non-corporate teams), enter the Code DOWDING24 in all CAPS and select Employee.

Description
Join us for the 12th Annual Silver Bells 5K Race, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network. Enjoy the start of the holiday season with a 5K race to celebrate Silver Bells in the City, Lansing’s signature event. Participants will be able to run/walk the 5K marked course in downtown Lansing.

The costume contest will return for 2024! Categories are holiday traditional, festive sweater and holiday movies.
If you would like to take part in the contest, please check in at the Blue Cross Blue Shield tent by 8:45 AM. Del Rio photography will be taking pictures of the contestants. Winners will be announced via email after the race and prizes will be mailed to individuals.
Any realized proceeds benefit the Chris and Louise Holman Foundation and Silver Bells in the City. To date, more than $52,000 has been donated to local organizations that support at-risk youth in our Mid-Michigan communities.
Packet Pickup schedule:
Friday, November 22 at Playmakers in Okemos from 4 PM until 7 PM.
Saturday, November 23 on the Capitol Lawn from 8 AM until 9 AM.
- You are able to pick up packets for family and friends on their behalf.
- Race day parking is available on City of Lansing street side at no cost.
- Age group awards will be available at the BCBS tent after the event and are awarded to the top 3 in each age group. Age groups are every 5 years.
