Angel Trees 2024

If you took an angel and have not returned it with a gift or donation yet, please do so. Even if you can’t make the deadline of today, we will be accepting gifts/donations next week also. We appreciate you for all of your generosity!!! THANK YOU!!

This year we are partnering with Good Shepherds/City Consignment right here in Eaton Rapids!   Instead of adopting only 3 families like last year, we are going to expand our reach so we can help more people right here in our own community. We are participating in the Christmas “Free” Holiday shopping event which will help 23 families (65 children) be able to come into the store and do their shopping during this exclusive special event.

The Angels are on the trees at each plant – we encourage you to embrace the true spirit of the season and help us make an impact locally by taking an angel and returning the gift or monetary donation unwrapped with the Angel attached by Friday 12/13/24.  Please give to Treena at Plant 1, Missy at Plant 2 or Kim at Plant 3

This program is designed to help beyond the immediate need of Christmas presents.  The goal is to provide services and hope to help those families that are struggling to overcome their limitations and become self-sufficient and take the steps needed to make that happen.

In addition to Christmas gifts, they offer many programs such as financial literacy classes, parenting classes, housing opportunities, food pantry, clothing, personal care items, bible studies, help with hardships, camp scholarships etc…  Each family is paired with a mentor who will help guide them through the process and talk with them about what they need so they do not have to be at this event next year. Good Shepherds has been successfully operating this program for a few years now and have always had to rely on the donations of the general public, so they are extremely excited we are able to help sponsor this event through the generous donations of our Dowding team members!
