Thanksgiving 2020

Dear Team Members,

Dowding is giving THANKS to its team members by helping you celebrate with your family! If you haven’t signed up already, TODAY is the deadline! Please select either a Turkey or Gift Card on the sign-up sheet by the time clocks. Both Turkeys and Gift Cards will be distributed Thursday 11/19.

With the Thanksgiving holiday closely approaching, we would like to remind all of our Team Members that if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in prolonged close contact (meaning a total of 15 mins per 24 hours inside 6 ft) with anyone who has tested positive, DO NOT come into work and notify HR at 517-663-1729 and also your supervisor. We continue to ask team members to stay home if you have any symptoms of illness.   If you become ill during work, we ask you contact your supervisor and proceed home immediately.

Every situation may be different; however as a general rule for returning to work we will follow the CDC guidelines in coordination with any orders from your doctor.

You can be around others after:

• 10 days since symptoms first appeared and
• 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
• Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving*

*Loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery and need not delay the end of isolation?

Please continue to stay safe and follow CDC recommendations to avoid risk of exposure. Keeping any illness out of our facilities and keeping our team members healthy is key to sustaining our business! We would like to reiterate our Dowding “Why” statement……”We’re here to build people, not just parts!”   You and your families will always be our #1 priority!   Please be safe and Thank You for your dedication.
